Creation vs gamebryo? Wouldn't you have to redo even the textures to fit a new format? Which assets are you talking about…

There are actually 9 pins in a USB 3.0 connector, not the 4 of a USB 2.0 connector. So they will work, you just don't get the 3.0 speeds. If you carefully look inside a 3.0 cable you'll see the extra 5 pins.
