I don’t see why they should, no one is buying EVs in numbers that cause even a quarter of an eyebrow raise. Also, with gov’t incentives going away across the globe those numbers will shrink even further. Tesla is a yawn fest.

No he isn’t. Almost everyone in the trucking industry has been working on autonomy, platooning, and electrifying. Tesla is way behind the game on this one and because they do not have a proven customer base, it will be tough for them to move market share their way.
Trucking companies have no patience for trucks that…
At one of our local C&C’s...
Every time I see a Porsche 911 , I react with ‘meh’ and move on to the more intriguing Trabant behind it.
So when is FCA suppose to implode again? Oh next quarter? Oh ok, guess we’ll keep waiting...I’m running out of popcorn though
This has been said for nearly a decade now, just when is it supposed to happen exactly? Should we just keep waiting?
Who cares, Rosberg is a forgettable champion/racer. He made his own bed by quitting, his reputation won’t matter even 3 years from now.
What plan?
This. I’m glad people are catching on to the anti-FCA angle that’s been going on here for years. All of their writers act as if these “SUVs” are the same things rolling off the lines 10+ years ago. Never mind the fact that FCA offers diesel options for many of their larger vehicles and have a hybrid minivan.
I was talking about the tesla-semi. I would much rather drive a hydrogen powered vehicle than anything with a Tesla badge on it.
I can’t wait for that thing to overheat going up the grapevine on I-5 and blowing up.
Why would they buy from Tesla when they already have their own way of producing batteries? First rule of business, don’t buy shit from a competitor to compete in the same market.
They have their own battery manufacturing, they told Tesla to fuck off years ago and I support their attitude.
There’s always this talk about scaling production for batteries and it bringing the cost down but it’s been decades since we’ve seen it happen. Cell phone and laptop batteries are just as expensive as they were 10 years ago and the re-mans are still crappier than the OEMs.
I don’t know. The monocle comment on that post with the Morgan getting rear-ended had me in tears.
I’ve never laughed at the Mustang joke. Not once. It’s not funny. Can we let it die already?
I wouldn’t be so sure especially in the advent of BioFuels. An ICE vehicle will always be cheaper to build and repair than a battery powered EV vehicle.
How are these cars “the future” if no one is buying them? Literally, 99% of car buyers are giving few shits about EVs when making their vehicle purchases.
CR, more often than not, is full of crap when it comes to their reliability assessments. Case in point: Audi
EVs are a pain in the ass if you routinely travel long distances. Plus they’re ugly AF.
