I have a ‘00 VFR that I absolutely adore for its V4. I don’t know if this engine really belongs anywhere else except for a maybe something like the ST, the VFR is a bit of a pig because of it.

This is my shocked face: -_-
Don’t care. Porsches are overrated pieces of shit driven by assholes.
I hate it. Give me an Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio to wipe all of the shit eating grins off all of the Panamera owners.
If only they could make money on the length of their waiting list.
I hope you get fired for your lack of engineering and increased spread of bullshit on a glorified car blog.
Tesla is the new kid in the block and should be lauded for producing a phenomenal vehicle, teething problems notwithstanding (and very promptly addressed, one must add).
Bullshit.
So in other words this article is stupid and pointless? I’m glad we were able to straighten that out.
So why haven’t the FIATs that my parents have owned for 4 years broken down?
Ok but we can conveniently ignore the decades of shitty reliability and ridiculous service costs for VAG, MBZ, and BMW products, right? Or the QC issues of brand new Model Ss and Model Xs? Or the Takata airbags being installed in Honda and Toyota vehicles that could still potentially kill people?
and that is a perfectly fair assessment to make. That being said Tom and the majority of Jalopnik commenters are putting the car before the horse. A single incident incurred on a press vehicle is not an indicator of a growing trend.
What Tom so conveniently leaves off in this article is the fact that the car given to…
The AutoGallery is not a FIAT dealership and the two Rusnak Dealers are alongside Maserati. The dealership in downtown is owned by FCA so that doesn’t really count because they literally sell every FCA product. That leaves a whipping 2 out of 7 Alfa showrooms that are alongside FIAT ones.
I know FIAT is a running joke…
Except for when MotorTrend faced overheating issues with the new Z06...
A dealer network accustomed to peddling and servicing the aforementioned $16,000 Dodge. Their employees do not know how to accommodate luxury car shoppers/owners and said people are going to turn away in droves once they encounter the mainstream domestic brand dealer experience.
News flash: literally every OEM prepares the cars for the journalists. Don’t criticize Alfa for these tactics, criticize the journalists and industry that allow it. You can be sure as shit that “articles” like these certainly don’t help to alleviate the problem.
and I remind people of the opposite because the reality is that these issues are largely blown out of proportion.
A ‘theory’ that doesn’t have legs or even a pelvis. Seriously this is no worse than a Breitbart article.
Looking for the truth, couldn’t find any here...
Exactly. This article along with many others makes Jalopnik look like a fucking joke. This is why they no longer get invited to press days and have reviews months after everyone else.
