Well I honestly don’t know for sure, but I would guess that the article isn’t right. It’s likely a hollow piece of wood with a magnet inside. As far as I know, there’s no way to magnetize wood!

Yes, you are so clever. Bravo.

Yes, you are doing it right. It’s possible to use a metal one without damaging the blade, but it’s more difficult. I guess I should have made that clearer in my original statement.

Buy it or not, it’s true. If you place the knife down on the edge or pick it up in such a way that the force is torqued toward the blade, it will warp.

Wood ones are preferred because the metal ones can damage the edges of your knives if you aren’t careful. Always go for wooden magnetic knife strips.

So they are just going to keep old USB ports forever? Um, no. In fact, some do already come with a USB-C output.

Meh, I’m waiting for a proper USB-C one. This double microUSB port deal seems a little silly. Plus, no USB-C out? Come on.

You can thumbs down songs that are not in your library. This helps Google learn what music you don’t like.

It’s not functionally identical, and anyone who says otherwise is either making a poor attempt at satire or totally missing the major differences between the two speeches. And in either case, it just adds fuel to the alt-right fake news fire.

That’s weird. The Y by me (in a major metropolitan area) is also $55. You sure you’re looking at the individual plan?

Is it confirmed that the spread is also increased, or are you just assuming so because of the higher pellet count? I don’t think that’s necessarily the case.

Preferably the path of least resistance.

Where digital has the advantage is in photojournalism. Someone can click off what would amount to hundreds of rolls of film and then the world can see them in minutes. Sending film off for processing takes time. It can be laborious.

I think a lot of it also depends on your subject. Film is just not practical for all applications.

I think your method has merit, but I personally learn better by having the freedom with digital to shoot a LOT. I then have more photos to study to see what works, what doesn’t, and how I can improve. I also have more leeway in grabbing unexpected and candid photos. Film is great, but I could never go back to it

Wow, yeah! Crazy coincidence! I love when that sort of thing happens.

I can see how someone might not get into it, but for me, growing up in the Midwest, it really hit close to home (pardon the pun). Being able to reminisce about the brutal winters and reading the names of familiar places give the book a special place in my collection.

I don’t understand this logic. I prefer the 10000 batteries for better portability, but now that I have a USB-C phone, it charges slow as balls. It doesn’t matter what capacity the battery is; when I’m on travel, I can’t afford to wait an hour to get maybe a 10% charge. Not to mention that a USB-C input would mean

I’m surprised (and pleased) to see Silent Hill 2 made your list. It’s still my all-time favorite game.
