I take that (partially) back. Apparently Nintendo owns part of the companies involved in building it.

Ohhhh, I see. That is strange indeed. I have noticed though that when you exit a menu back to the main view, your character runs to your new spot from the location where you opened the menu. So indeed, maybe walking isn’t tracked while in menus or catching pokemon. =/

It only tracks your walking when the app is open and running.

I think that the reason a pokemon might not be in inventory after the freeze is because it was marked as escaping the pokeball. If it was marked as caught before the freeze, that’s when it goes into your collection. That’s just a guess though.

I agree with everything except the bits about Nintendo. Nintendo isn’t involved with the app except for licensing the property.

I stopped using battery saver because of a bug where sometimes the app becomes unresponsive when waking. That is, it turns off touch input when in battery saver mode (expected), and sometimes, it doesn’t turn it back on (not expected). And the only solution is to force close. I’m hoping it gets fixed soon.

Evolving gets you a lot of XP, so use your lucky egg for that. You can look at the stats afterwards and decide which to keep.

If this actually existed (and it never would), then I don’t see why it couldn’t be optional for those who want full ownership.

Yes, this is the best part of having this card, and that’s saying a lot considering all of the bonuses and benefits. If ever you wanted to make your friends jealous, get one now.

How is that ridiculous? Either haul your ass to a brick-and-mortar to avoid shipping costs, or bite the bullet. The sellers shouldn’t have to pay for you to return their products. The least you can do for the luxury of having test devices shipped to your door is pay the completely reasonable return shipping fee. And

You’re actually more likely to be struck when riding on a sidewalk. Furthermore, you’re dangerous to pedestrians.

Interesting that all the picks are messengers. I use a sling strap for my camera, and it seems like having a camera on one side and a bag on the other would be unwieldy and inconvenient. Anyone have thoughts on this?

The latter, I think you’ll see.

The former.

Or, ya know, different strokes. Just because you don’t want to live there doesn’t mean it’s not worth it to someone else. Obviously, considering the large number of people living there.

Okay, but almost no luggage is safe from a thief, really. Most are made of fabric that can easily be cut. Even easier is just stabbing the zipper apart. A lock like this is simply to make that thief-in-a-hurry-who-didn’t-happen-to-bring-his-TSA-keychain pass over yours and go for someone else’s. Haven’t you heard the
