Violet tastes like soap. Take a bar of Ivory and give it a lick. Or try some violet gum. It’s godawful.
After showing up to meet her in that brooch, did you really think Princess Michael was getting an invite?
Yeah, I’m surprised at the number of “Whatever, happens all the time” type responses. Like yeah, but that doesn’t make it ok? Drivers must yield to pedestrians? Did we not all get the same driver’s ed?
They left out this scene
I’m so happy for Mindy St. Clair!
From what can be gathered based of countless non-spoiler reviews, Netflix sent out screeners unusually fast and unusually early. That probably accounts for how rapidly the AV club has pumped out richly detailed reviews for each episode so fast. They had a long lead time.
I mean I really enjoyed a lot of things about Playtest. The performances were wall-to-wall stellar and the way it handled the protagonist’s anxiety about Alzheimer’s was sincerely heartbreaking but the pacing issues and glib ending lost a lot of points in my book. I really think The Waldo Moment has been the only…
It’s not that men are banned, it’s just hard finding men who are good enough for the showcase. At the end of the day, men just aren’t that funny.
Honestly, resignation does seem like the right move at the moment.
I am, on some level, troubled by the idea that a person’s career can be tanked on the basis of allegations alone (though that photo from the first allegation was pretty damning), but when multiple accusers come forward, we’re only left with two choices:

Another great episode and thank you Allison for your always thoughtful reviews of these episodes. You add a lot to the content for me.
I love that many of the characters in my favourite shows that struggle with mental health and addiction issues are shown getting help and trying to better themselves.
Not the one I deserve. I deserve Oscar Isaac or Idris Elba.
I hope he’s telling the truth.
Maybe he qualifies as such in 2017 because he hasn’t raped anyone.
That really sucks for the rest of the cast and crew.
i came here to say this, im glad that there are others that havent been seduced by this Fake Off.
I think she might be a good person and excellent company, but only if she gets taken out on a good solid five mile run every damn day. That’ll put paid to her free-ranging frustration and desire to pick fights out of boredom.
Aww. I like Shannon. I feel bad for her. I think she’s an overall good person who is not doing well and the worst people are on the show pushing her buttons while she’s going through a rough time mentally and emotionally. I really wish she would see what those people were doing and not play into their hand, yet there…
I really used to hate Colin Farrell. Back around his awful, over exposed period around 2004ish when he was in countless movies and most of them were terrible (also the case with the now wonderful Jude Law).
