I am not sure she is coming out as a Republican but rather saying that Kasich would be the best of the Republican candidates, which I would agree with.

I feel for the family, but Syed did not get a fair trial and there is a lot of evidence that appears to show that he may not be guilty at all. There was police misconduct, and misleading evidence was presented at trial.

Right. As if casting a person of color in these roles would be like casting an alien or something. As if human beings don’t share many, many of the same kinds of experiences or have the same desires.

Also, it’s amazing how often people of color actually do have the same issues as white people.

Yeah, I mean, if they only care about white people, then they only care about white people. Not a lot anyone can do about that.

My take-away from this whole thing is that a bunch of white people are just really into white people. Given their explanations for the lack of diversity, I’m not sure I want them tackling any issues but white people issues.
