It works somehow, its very slow build, makes you sit with each thing for a long time and absorb it.

Sure, but the dialogue was a little too much like a Bond villian explaining his master plan. Personally I think an entirely dialogue free scene after *that sound* would have been amazingly powerful in the same way that a long dialogue free stretch is used with the same character earlier in the film.

Like imagine if the people in It Follows weren’t just dealing with a scary thing that followed them but also their friends were dying of cancer and their house had a poltergeist.

Its not quite like anything I’ve ever seen before. It’s like 3 films layered on top of each other. Each one is about a different terrible thing and it just so happens to all be happening to the same people.

Its not just that its scary, its really upsetting.

I loved this film so very much, terrifying, moving & funny in parts. Toni Collette deserves every award going.

The excuses for having Tambor in the show are so much worse than the actual having him in the show.

Whoever did the editing on that episode is a shady comedic genius who clearly hates Kim. All the contradicting flashbacks were glorious but the cut to her face looking like a wrinkled thumb after Kenya said she should have a plastic surgeon look at her chin was the hilarious icing on the cake.

Makes beautiful babies at least.

The cake was also violet favoured. Jesus christ how stupid do you think I am? I am also aware that the Magnolia bakery cakes are not made of magnolias and the hummingbird bakery cakes are not made of dozens of hummingbird corpses.

It does sound delicious but I have in fact been to Violet’s bakery and their cakes are gross. I was desperately craving cake and their only options were chocolate & spelt, rasberry & courgette or violet. I mean what the fuck does a violet even taste like you pretentious cake ruiners?!

It is much worse. Cloverfield paradox is nowhere near as boring.

The most annoying part of this film was there was absolutely no need for it to be set in the future.
