Ni No Kuni, Heavy Rain, and Resistance 3 does it for me. Ni No Kuni adds a tone of sophistication to itself. Heavy Rain easily describes it's tone and what the game is about so elegantly, and I love Resistance 3's semi-minimalistic direction.
