one of Scorsese’s women

I’m getting so tired of boner lens some guys get when they interview women they find attractive. It feels like they can see anything beyond their appearance.

Sooooo, her bio says she’s currently 29, which makes her 12 years of age in 1999, the year she says she lived alone in “the jungle with big spiders and poor little children with AIDS and, and, and . . . insert cliche here.”

It was the ones who weren’t arrested, presumably the non-rapists, that lost. They don’t deserve the sarcasm. It would be interesting to see how all team rankings would change if the rapists were out of the picture.

They have “loss prevention” which are employees who’s sole job is to follow folks around and try and catch them stealing. Sometimes they literally follow them around, sometimes they just monitor the camera feed.

Because Will Smith was busy?

I think he’s saying that she looked like a Normal and isn’t it sad she felt pressured to become a Beautiful, but really she was cheating by using a scalpel and got what she deserved. Of course she was not a Normal to begin with, and whatever “revolutionary” fantasies he had about her being attainable for dudes like

Which has no impact on the white dominated tv, movie/ entertainment industry in the United States.

As we age, our looks change. Even if she didn't have any work done, she still wouldn't look the same as at 27.

That’s kind of a false equivalency. Maybe if Asian actresses were actually represented properly in the film industry, Johansson’s casting wouldn’t be such a big deal. But they aren’t represented properly. Whereas black people, while generally more represented in the film industry than other races/ethnicities, still

If you believe the two situations are interchangeable, then you don’t understand the importance of increased representation for people of colour (POC) in media with roles that are not ridiculous caricatures of actual POC. When is the last time an Asian actor was the lead in a movie?

I love how “international” means “white lead”
