I’m the opposite. I got so tired of Pats fans complaining about the phantom hate — while their team has been the most consistently praised thing in sports for the last 20 years -- that now I’m finally starting to actually hate them.

He did have one really long run called back due to a penalty.

Saints-Pats would have been the best (you know it). 

Those of us that believe in the Saints v Chiefs narrative are mainly projecting the desire to have one fucking Superbowl that everyone could feel good about the winner no matter the outcome, rather than a perfect villain vs some fluke team. 

I’m convinced Gurley’s hurt, no matter their denials.

Yeah, precisely, though... if you’re holding hundreds of millions of other peoples money... you should have a system in place beyond “Its on my laptop/flash drive and only I know the password”

Believe it or not, THIS is the first Super Bowl the Patriots have won by double digits.

Two random thoughts after that game.

One blown PI call and one phantom roughing the passer kept us from Saints-Chiefs.

Yes, thanks to Vinatieri’s last-second FG’s and Pete Carrol being a goddamn moron. But the comeback against Atlanta is the only true feat of “holy shit” in his Super Bowl career.  This game was absolutely atrocious, on both sides.

And the worst thing is this whole “Despite our success, we’re the underdog nobody respects with a chip on our shoulder” crap actually worked.

Objectively, that was the worst Super Bowl ever.

“It was the Super Bowl this league and this world deserves”

My decision to skip this game because it was going to be boring as fuck to watch the Patriots win another Super Bowl was justified, it seems.

Every bad team was looking for the next Sean McVay, the new age offensive guru. His team is turning in one of the worst offensive Superbowl performances in history. That irony is the best thing I can find in this dumpster fire of a “game”
