In an online competitive game you’re paying to be a part of the community. If you start fucking that community up, then you get kicked out of the community. Don’t cheat and you’ve got nothing to worry about.

I don’t think it’s that simple. It’s possible this policy change will be a little messy, and negatively impact some creators, but you can’t blame Minecraft for wanting to prevent Minecraft from being co-opted by brands. It’s gross.

they really should have not aired the reliant robin bit. THE most boring ‘challenge’ in tg history. Basically here are two cars, one broke and was towed to the finish line, back to the studio.

$27K will put you in a more recent Z4 with better performance and reasonable (for BMW) maintenance/repair options. I can only imagine the issues you’d encounter if this car were in a fender-bender.

I'd rather have a different $27,000 car.

It’s following the normal development cycle. Its not taking particularly long for a video game of that scope, its just more transparent than other games, so it seems like its taking forever, but its really doing just fine. The single player game is actually coming out later this year in all likelyhood.

Y’know what, though, I gotta hand it to the guy. He came back and said he got it. Takes some humility and maturity to do that.

I

Gonna need dat downforce to keep all that power in check.

If you don’t like exploration for exploration’s sake, don’t bother with this game. It’s an exploration orgasm and not much else. I’m stoked for it, but I’m the guy that quits playing an MMO as soon as I’ve seen the whole map.

I’m treating it with Molyneux gloves. Whenever something sounds amazing, just remember Molyneux.

At least this isn’t an arbitrary list populated by equal parts “who commented first (even if they’re factualy wrong)“ and “What does the author like?”. Not that I personally disliked QOTD/AOTD but it got old when the comments on AOTD were just complaints all the time. Often unfairly hating the author.

I get where you’re going and I don’t necessarily disagree with all of it. But I do think this newfound fad of saying things are bad because they take themselves “too seriously” is just... Harmful, at best. Not only because it permeates this cultural acceptance that “Serious things are bad”, but also because it implies

Nice try, Bastion player.

My guess is they are trying to avoid a typical internet shit storm that crops up around these type of things. As a non white male I also give no shits what someone else wants in their own personal version of a game. But all it takes is a few crybabies and then the whole thing goes into nuclear meltdown on the net.

I think the bigger problem lies in policing people’s fantasy and assuming that a person’s fantasy has a considerable bearing on how he acts in society.

The script for Alien was written as unisex - the characters were only given surnames, so that the scriptwriters could tell prospective producers “you can cast pretty much whoever you want to chase whatever demographic”. This process resulted in Ripley, one of the strongest female characters in all of science fiction.

You are brave to say these things on the Internet. Respect.

I already have a PC, but I can’t play Bloodborne on it ;_;
