I actually saw one on the lot and wanted to buy it, but I share cars with the wife so it’s a non-possibility. At the time, I had done a search and there were (I think) two in a 3 hour radius from where I live.

See, your problem is that you actually attempt to view a Gawker site from your mobile.
Aren’t memes supposed to be funny?
The car looks good, and isn’t priced crazily, but I’ve just seen so many of these clapped out and not running on Craigslist that I can’t bring myself to give it a NP vote at that price/mileage. Yes, I know it’s probably been well maintained to make it that far. Still. These just seem to be kryptonite.
Well, complete crap in that almost everything GM was complete crap in that era. The drivetrain was (and is) awesome, though. But yeah, that’s what I mean—people forget that these we just Regals, but fast.
While it seems like a good deal, those grainy photos showing a decent amount of grime make me hit CP. Hard to get a gauge on the condition properly, and there’s a lot of unknowns. Just not quite a low enough price for me to hit NP without more solid knowledge of what needs to be done.
That particular character/voice-actor combo did seem odd as one to pick out as problematic. I’m assuming it’s problematic because they didn’t even bother trying to get someone with a bi-racial background? I’m not going to pretend I have any idea how voice acting gigs are given out or auditioned for.
Is it weird that I find this FAR more unbearable than the various luxo-badge swaps done by Torch?
I had a ‘93 lesabre that I would have driven into the ground had someone not ran into me during a snow-storm. Aside from camrys and various hondas, I think I see more early-mid ‘90s buicks than any other passenger cars of the era still on the road. I think it’s almost as much to do with them being originally owned by…
Aside from body parts and the digital dash, someone could buy this and keep it running indefinitely if they want. NP
That 3800 isn’t powerful by today’s standards, true, but the 3800 is decently torquey. I believe that’s a pre-series 1 unit that has just north of 210 ft-lbs of torque and somewhere north of 160 HP (I don’t remember exactly, but it was pretty great for the day). The 3800 is a great engine in just about any of its…
Hah, I like to rib my wife when I drive her ‘15 Forester—it has a regular key ignition without prox unlock/lock.
What a tragic waste of Fieros :(
I wouldn’t mind another story that follows up on Nite Owl. Wouldn’t really even need any crossover characters, except maybe Laurie/Jean smart. Could either show the events leading up to him (presumedly) going to prison, or have him released.
Buddy Christ is Best Christ. I lean agnostic/athiest, but if Jesus is real, I picture him like this greeting people at the pearly gates XD.
I agree with the sentiment in general that just erasing stuff can be problematic. . .
Just, I don’t know, don’t flood your plate with syrup? Real maple syrup is pretty strong, and a little goes a long way. Plus, soggy pancakes are SHIT.
Does anyone actually give a rat’s ass about rolling stops? Just the act of a rolling stop implies you slowed down enough to check the intersection. It’s the full speed red light running that’s the real problem, and the cameras are fuck-all useful for that.
I agree we don’t necessarily need speed limits, but I would still have the signs. I would change them all to “speed suggestions”. It is helpful, as sometimes the speed indicated gives you an idea of what sort of terrain/intersections/etc are in the area.
I think we want to be just a little careful and educate ourselves as best we can—I haven’t read the actual coroner report, but often multiple contributing factors are listed.
