I almost voted NP, but then I saw the rebel flag and bro truck in the background.  Hard no on buying anything from this seller at all.

I. . . I owned a ‘91 Chevy Corsica. I really liked that car. . .

I’ve met a few myself. Many of my friends’ dads in high school were ‘Nam vets. My old man is definitely not a hippie, though. He’s pretty damn square, as a matter of fact, lol. He was extremely lucky to be stationed in Germany during Vietnam.

oh man that was brutal. I genuinely feel bad for that guy—the thing legit shattered in his hands (although I’m sure his shakey hands didn’t help).

This is about how I felt when I bought my ‘94 LeSabre. Bit of a bigger car, but similar circumstances. Not exciting at all, but that 3800 V6 was smooth--not fast--and the car was comfortable.  Okay-ish radio, dual climate zones, but no leather.  Mid-specced.

A Camry of that generation is a car. It does car things well.

Yeah, it’s pretty much the first time I’ve had a daily driver and said to myself “that’s enough power”. Sure, I wouldn’t mind a different drive layout (front engine rwd or maybe awd), but the power is certainly sufficient.

That’s one of the things that drove me absolutely crazy when LCDs came out: the black levels and terrible greyscale banding. It was a nasty trade-off for going to a bigger, higher resolution screen.

I bought one of the last good 1080p 50" panasonic plasmas about 6-7 years ago. The picture quality is still fantastic, and the only TVs I’ve seen that match—and probably exceed—it are OLED. (FYI I have zero burn-in on this TV)

Eh, he didn’t “give it all away”. He sold the car for $500k, but the record is still his (I think? I don’t know if it’s been broken since).

I swear no one really teaches “defensive driving” anymore. Or if they do, they don’t really focus on it.

Yeah, the interior materials in the Mazdas are good, but I don’t really like the layout, and they seem to sacrifice useable interior space. They just feel cramped compared to the competition.

IDK about the V6 Camry, but my 2.0 turbo (10-speed auto) Accord is a rocket. Can’t imagine the Camry is much slower (if at all). IDK if you’ve driven an up-engined mid-sized sedan lately, but they’re pretty damn fast if you mash the go-pedal.

My response to a brand new diesel CUV in 2020:

Edit: holy shit I hate when I only notice a post is old as fuck after I make a response.

Nice car, but CP price (but not by much).

I agree. The sequel trilogy so very obviously suffers from changing creative direction that it gives me whiplash.

Any comment that mentions Radwood just instantly annoys me. Like, if the only thing that makes you think a car is worth the price is “ooh it could win some shit at Radwood!”, then is the car actually worth that?

Sooooooooooo. . .

The only one who aged was Foltest--they showed him as a child in Yennifer’s story.  Extremely confusing that he ages while literally no one else does.
