I bet that drive thru has a sign that says something to the effect of “if you need assistance ordering please pull forward to the window” or something like that. I think they all do?

No, my friend, you’re no savage. You just have a refined palate. I find the people who love IPAs the most are also the ones putting ketchup on their well-done ribeyes. They think crazy-bitter = flavor and really can’t discern much else.
Oh the german wheat beers are DEFINITELY better. I now know Franziskaner is owned by the evil overlords, but their wheat is top notch (the best I’ve had, and I went through a big wheat phase 10 years ago due to my severe adversion to bitter hoppy beers).
This x1000. I also signed up as soon as it was opened in the early days to .edu addresses. It was great at first. I think it peaked for me when they added the chat feature in 2007 or 2008-ish (don’t remember exactly).
Well, it is spicier, that’s for sure.
Oh god eggs benedict. Both my favorite and least favorite breakfast food, depending on who is making it. Even at the place I go for the good shit, it varies between mouth-gasm and meh just enough that I hesitate to order it.
Honestly I skip the sandwiches and get the sausage burritos with hash brown when it comes to McD’s. Even if it comes out sub-standard, the sauce covers up the sins. If they forget the sauce in the drive-thru, though, you best believe I’ll cut somebody.
That or a croissant. Depends on the mood. But, yeah.
So you can get what you want—which is not a 20 year old LeSabre.
Exactly. We’re enthusiasts, but that doesn’t mean we’re not sensible. One of our cars at home is a base model 2015 Forester because it’s simply a great tool.
Well, you probably CAN beat C5 and older vettes :P
Sure most people don’t know the benefits, which is why he should have spun it a little different--like say the turbo can get you more power while maintaining low MPG, which is what more people care about than actual speed.
Most people don’t and shouldn’t concern themselves with performance when buying their appliance on wheels. I can accept this as an enthusiast. It’s just odd that a salesman would use this tactic for a CUV sale. . .
Or how about a used Hyundai Genesis or Toyota Avalon? Did you misread the budget as having one less zero?
David, please tell me the next stop for that thing is the scrap yard. It’s just not worth it :(
Did. . . did you even read what the guy wanted in a car?
My smartphone has always been Android (well technically I had blackberry, palm pre, and a sony thing that looked like a blackberry back in the day). But, I also use an iPad. I can definitely see the appeal of both, and to be honest, I may have been an iPhone guy if they were released on Verizon from the beginning, but…
*holsters side-arm*
Yeah I’m not sure about those things either. One of these days when I’m bored I’ll look into it :P
Could be a texture thing. I don’t enjoy eating several kinds of fruit raw due to this, although I like their flavor when they’ve been cooked or processed in some way.
