Crushed tomatoes are where it’s at for chili unless you specifically desire discernible chunks of tomato. Tomato sauce is too watery, and canned diced tomatoes are watery and with oddly textured tomato chunks.

JFC and it didn’t stop at bad ham takes. She and Marchman need to have their heads examined. How do they even take joy in eating anything at all?
I test drove both the civic and accord back to back (2018 models but still applies). The Civic really impressed me and I commented to my wife that holy cow do you get a lot of car for under $25,000 these days. Decent power, fun handling, and tons of features and space. I ultimately went with the Accord, but I…
Yes, the 2018+ Accord infotainment is one of the reasons it won me over vs the competition (that and the *ahem* adequate accelleration of the 2.0T). It actually excellent and VERY intuitive. Only thing I don’t like is I can’t put both AM and FM presets in the same group. Have to switch between modes to cycle through…
Don’t know how he spells it, but he don’t need instructions to know how to rock.
I don’t mind the setup currently. It just seems like it’s always the team that I hate that wins the toss, though :(
Yeah that was some painful shit to watch. We’re definitely not playing the same game 10 years later.
Thank you, lol. I had a 72 month loan on a car but was paying enough each month so that it could be payed off in about 4.5 years. This gave me a ton of breathing room in case of some unforseen emergency.
I don’t get why AWD was a requirement anyway. She didn’t mention anything about going to remote places in the mountains. I mean, she currently drives a Mini. . . Plus, AWD is just another thing that can fail, and she mentioned low maintenance. . .
No I didn’t. I probably would have, but try as I might, I can’t get the wife to drive a manual. She gets too anxious. I will say the auto has been excellent, and if you feel so inclined, the paddle shifters are very functional, but unfortunately are the type mounted to the wheel instead of the column.
understandable. I take regular trips of several hundred miles and many hours, so the extra space to stretch is nice.
Did you drive the 2.0t or the 1.5t? The sport 2.0t handled very well in my opinion (I’m not racing the thing ffs) and felt faster than the GTI. Granted, you’re never going to get the same handling feel as a relatively short wheelbase hot hatch, but where I live, it doesn’t matter and will never come into play.
Now, I don’t know for a fact that this is the case at BYU, but often these types of things are run by students with some minimal faculty supervision.
Agree 100%
Are you me? I literally did the same thing. Test drove a 6, Accord Sport 2.0t, and a GTI the same day back to back. They ARE bigger, to be sure, but so is the GTI. In fact, I was so pleased with the Accord 2.0t after I’ve been driving it for a month, then I did some comparisons. The Accord Sport 2.0t only weighs about…
Don’t get me wrong, I think we should all strive to be better people, but this pic? Bleh. I think we all need to lighten up and save our righteous indignation for targets that really deserve it.
This sucks, as kids should get healthy foods for lunch, and the shutdown is some stupid bullshit, but <rocks back and forth in rocking chair> when I was in school, literally none of the things they are losing were available for my lunch. Fruits and veggies were canned, water was from the water fountain, and ice cream…
Ehhhhh, this doesn’t strike me as “insensitive” so much as it was simply “incorrect.”
If you only eat out once a month and still tip like garbage, then you’re just being cheap. You should probably just admit the truth—it will set you free. I don’t care how you justify it, you’re being an ass to those servers.
I completely disagree. The sealed beams pretty much ruined the look of the front of these.
