7speed manual in the new vette is ropey and sharty. I did not like it. The tremec 6 speed is superior in every way. This could be due to the transaxle vs. transmission, however.

My z/28 has CC brakes and even without doing the full bed-in procedure they fucking curbstomp the brakes on any other car I have owned or driven. Multiple Porsches included, though those P-cars did not have CC brakes. And yea, I use it as a daily, back and forth to work most days when the weather is nice.

Enjoy the myriad of LT1 issues that are still being discovered. Any issues I *might* have are documented and the fixes are known so... yea, pulling the heads at the end of 2016 to wiggle it, just a little bit.
