Fucking no. You don’t even need to USE the clutch. The motorcycle gearbox is already the superior unit, being a sequential manual box. This DCT nonsense is just more Honda bullshit that will be a mechanical nightmare.

Too much for anyone who actually works for a living, like always.

Depending on how the roads are in your area, any “street legal trackday car” would be in the running.

I just wanted to chime in and say that the V10 Touareg is a fuckin’ beast. My mother had one for years until, with less than 60K miles on it, decided to need $14K worth of service in a year.

I fucking love it. If I had spare cash and the ability to grow a worthy mustache, I would surely park this in my driveway.

Sign me up for one. I love the look; I’ve done the convertible thing in the past and would never subject myself to a soft-top again. Might have to put the CRZ out to pasture... its the same niche right? Right??

7speed manual in the new vette is ropey and sharty. I did not like it. The tremec 6 speed is superior in every way. This could be due to the transaxle vs. transmission, however.

“Al Hoppenheiser, the chief engineer of the Camaro, reportedly said that it was three seconds faster lap than the Shelby GT350 in tests … A quite impressive when you consider that it has 71 horses less.”

Must have been trying to keep up with a brand new v8 Camaro with the 1LE package.

What, its the Testy’s retarded sibling. Nope. F355 is where the worthwhile F cars start and F430 is where they end since no manuals.

Except he references matt harvey who hit chase utley with a pitch intentionally after utley hit 2 home runs in the same game

If this car had been available without them, I would have opted not to get them just because I am more familiar with regular brakes and I know that a good iron setup is nothing to scoff at.. Until I drove the car. Now? cold. dead. hands.

No LS7 no sale.

Part of the problem, as I understood it, was how certain car companies.. Porsche specifically, had tuned their traction control and stability control systems to work. Everything I knew about CC brakes came from the P-car world, and yeah those guys were replacing rotors and pads at a scary rate. But from what I

End of an era, I suppose.

That I believe; although I gotta say it does better on fuel than my Toyota FJ cruiser with the 1GR, and both mazda rx8's I have owned.

Yes, def. make sure you have the big foam rubber condoms and do not let just anyone mess with the wheels and tires.

My z/28 has CC brakes and even without doing the full bed-in procedure they fucking curbstomp the brakes on any other car I have owned or driven. Multiple Porsches included, though those P-cars did not have CC brakes. And yea, I use it as a daily, back and forth to work most days when the weather is nice.

Enjoy the myriad of LT1 issues that are still being discovered. Any issues I *might* have are documented and the fixes are known so... yea, pulling the heads at the end of 2016 to wiggle it, just a little bit. Wouldn’t trade it for ANY forced induction motor, and certainly not an even weaker n/a mill.

Modding a brand new car to get it to the power that last gen’s track models had is weak. Goodbye warranty. Why they didn’t just put the LS7 back in for an encore I’ll never understand.
