@Settings: Haha oops I guess you're a couple weeks too late. He already got a deal.

Just watched this on Dragon's Den! Glad it's getting some press!

@Coneaz: I think it's good that giz covers this sort of stuff. Even if they are not extremely well versed in this subject, it's something that's interesting and that's why it's on giz.

@scrotus1: I haven't encountered the error with the app launcher and I've been using this on and off for a couple weeks now.

I did this on my 3G a couple weeks ago and it works perfectly! Of course some bugs and lag like you mentioned, but otherwise it's great. Although, after using it for a bit, I still am partial to iOS.

@Gary_7vn: Yeah that is true. I guess this is a 'quick fix' of sorts. I'm sure the restraint systems will evolve over the years either way.

@Gary_7vn: I have no idea about how many people get hurt every year from falling off ski lifts, but wouldn't a better bar type restraint system benefit everyone and not just kids?

Why wouldn't they just design a better restraint system instead of making the kids wear these stupid things?

I've done this as well to my 3G, and while the multitasking and homescreen wallpaper don't slow down the device by themselves, having even a few apps running in the background (especially safari) can really slow it down. I have a jailbreak app that shows available memory, and when things are backgrounded it gets very

My updated iOS 4.0 3G isn't as slow as the video...and it's jailbroken as well.

@Keith Sauer: yeah i also updated and jailbroke. no slowdown.

I have a 3G, I upgraded to iOS 4.0, and jailbroke it. I now have multitasking and homescreen wallpaper. There really isn't too much of a slowdown at all. Seems like the same as before I updated (I was also jailbroken with a bunch of cydia apps, so it was a little slow).

@NaeemTHM: hah...see iPhone was better all along.

I think I'll go ahead and also comment on the fact that there is no gallery. Clearly one person saying it isn't enough...

@heartagram_ben: it's shift plus the option key. the shift button alone won't work.

It works fine in Toronto, Canada.

@pettiblay: does it have all the same effects?
