Tesla doesn’t have dealers- they sell their cars directly.

It depends, if you throw the display at the windscreen hard enough, it might dislodge the dirt.

No where does it mention Bleeding Cash, which is what you are doing by Air Freighting seats and displays to dealers.

This just keeps on getting worse.

All I take away from this is that Tesla doesn’t understand the design & release process for hardware.

So they are making everything dealer installed options, that is one way to pass the buck.

Dodge is already doing that and you have the option of buying them back for only $1.

I’d actually think about buying one if it came without the digital display.

If they can produce the car without major reliability or quality issues, nobody will remember or care about them being a couple months behind the schedule they made up for themselves. Took my STI to the dealer a little over a week ago: Somehow in the process of rotating the tires they cross-threaded a lugnut, and instead of fixing it, drove it on with an impact and didn’t tell me. Found out when I went to get winter tires a few days later, it was on so tight the tire place broke the stud. Bastards
