Ballaban there are no cars in GoT, dammit.
It’s an Alfa so I’m pretty sure it’ll break down enough so the mileage restriction wouldn’t matter
There’s another, much more basic reason not to get excited about this: Nearly all U.S. nuke plants still use analog control systems. Even if some hypothetical malware jumped that very robust air gap, it couldn’t do a whole lot.
The hackers are obviously after our taquitos. It’s probably easier to hack into the network of a nuclear power plant than Mama Ramirez’s recipe database.
20+ years nuclear power here. This is troubling, but no more so than any other corporate espionage. I can confirm that the air gap is real and robust. There is NO connection between the corporate intranet/internet and the systems that monitor and control the reactor.
At least Dan Quayle could read.
How on earth did that lovely Donald Trump’s Vice President get the message it was OK to go around grabbing things without permission?!
Lol, it doesn’t have a brain; it’s not suffering, but it is probably posting comments on kinja.
Washington, DC - July 6 2019 - Following the impeachment of Former President Trump in late 2018, Robert Mueller has been assigned again as independent counsel to investigate the fatal failure of the Orion Crew capsule, which burned down during launch 4 months ago. President Pence is suspected of sabotage, as NASA…
It’s a pity they didn’t hook up that panel to a couple of thousand Amps, let the fuckwit fry and then point to the sign, shrug and go “Well...?!”
Look how sexy that capsule is...it was clearly asking for it.
Torch is right. Its a funny picture and he took the time to research what it was and what it does and explain that it wasn’t really harmed. I fully support this article. Keep in mind this is Jalopnik, not a nightly news show. Thanks Torch.
I guess stopping at those annoying Stop signs while driving aren’t that big a deal.
The picture is still funny, no matter what.
Sometimes you have to inconvenience your subordinates to establish dominance.
I hate people that use pets as props.
