That was Marc Kudisch. He's a multiple Tony nominee and far too awesome to be on Smash. Like almost all the other Broadway actors on Smash.

No, he also got to silently stand watch while a few feet away everyone else had lines and discussed important issues.
No way. Ayn Rand ruined him for books.
My pleasure.
That was the same fella Boyd bought his rocket launcher from. I didn't pick up on it when I watched, but Graham Yost mentioned it in the EW postmortem. http://insidetv.ew.com/2012…
I think "chivalrous" is the last thing I'd call my boyfriend if he showed up unannounced to a work meeting with my boss because he was jealous and insecure.
I also hate that they completely refuse to use the word "rape." It's as if they know this whole plot is a bad idea and exploitative and they think if they just dance around it by saying "sexual assault" and "forced me to have sex with him," it makes it less egregious.
Pierre McGuire is indeed a scourge upon our airwaves.
I always recall a review of The Cat in the Hat that started out saying something like, "They should have just titled this movie Mike Myers: Asshole in Fur."
Yeah, as an admirer of his work, I'm disappointed as well. He's way better than this. I had the good fortune of living in NY in the two Broadway seasons before he stopped doing theatre and saw him in four shows and he was great in all of them. I'm hoping the character and performance gets fleshed out a lot more.
It's Brían F. O'Byrne, not Bryan. Brían, pronounced bree-un. He's, as you might imagine, Irish-born.
Random NewsRadio connection to Hot in Cleveland: Sam Johnson and Chris Marcil work(ed) as producers/writers on both.
They are making a stage musical from ONCE.
Adam
If memory serves, wasn't Becky's producer Adam Adam Schlesinger of future Fountains of Wayne and "That Thing You Do," etc. success?
