I started off skeptical that this was going to be at all convincing but you won me over. Turns out I felt the same way, just didn’t realize it. Great write-up.

What if the game in question was hyped as being so huge as to be near infinite? If you’re intent on giving it a fair shot 50 hours isn’t a lot to realize the game isn’t what it was supposed to be and that you’re not going to come around to enjoying it.

When I saw this post I nearly fell out from laughter lol. More ironic since not only was I thinking this when I first download the app, but I have experienced it first hand. I live in a predominantly white neighborhood (City as well) and I’m in a interracial marriage of 16 years with 4 kids. I’m never a threat to

Thanks for the support!

I don’t think the point is “this is a Pokemon Go specific thing” but rather “oh, look, yet another thing for POC to worry about doing in public”.

You are seriously underestimating what black people feel afraid of.

The inflation of ratings always irk me. An average game, which is neither bad nor good should get 50%.

Rumor is that he cheated on her (many times) so I'm not sure he deserves more than a phone break up.

“I’d love to be in your movie, but you know, I’m just not black enough. Here’s a list of much blacker people you can call.”

After that bit about him coming out of a rub-and-tug (am I remembering the right celebrity?) a phone breakup seems like a reasonable conclusion.

She may have been the main/only reason that financing fell into place.

Reminder that Hiddleston played F. Scott Fitzgerald in Midnight in Paris.
