I’m pretty sure it’s going to be the “not going to vote” angle.

That isn’t true. They are snowflakes. If they didn’t care, they wouldn’t try so hard to pretend everything is fine. The pertinent question is whether or not enough of them peel away or simply decide not to vote.

As far as I can tell, Snyder has never specified this, but I’m absolutely convinced that Snyder is likely a full on Trump voter. For one thing, the man seems to absolutely adore Ayn Rand. For another, as a creative he seems to dive no deeper than the most basic surface level messages, often twisting heroic characters

But remember when I moved in you? The Democrats don’t want you to remember, they hate it. They hate it when I move in you.
And the holy dove was moving too. Absolutely, it was, wasn’t it, folks? Boy was it moving. I had big generals coming up to me, right out of central casting. They had tears in their eyes, saying,

It couldn’t be much worse than what is being said at the actual convention. Every time I catch 5 seconds of it, somebody is saying “Joe Biden has pledged to outlaw the internal combustion engine,” or “everybody in the Senate knows that Kamala Harris is the most liberal elected official in the entire country.”

The first two movies are stupid fun.  There are a few cringing late 80s/early 90s gay panic jokes but other then that they are still pretty endearing and fun.   Also they are both a perfect right around 90 minute run time. Which is ideal for this sorta of silly movie.

It is gloriously apropos that a movie featuring Illyana Rasputin has been stuck in Limbo for years.

This is where I point out that both Joel Hodgson and Trace Beaulieu were on Feig’s Freaks & Geeks, so they have a prior working relationship with him. And Beaulieu’s character being called ‘A.R.T.’ is a reference to a long-running MST3K joke where people call Crow (also performed by Beaulieu) ‘Art’ because in one

Feig wrote the pilot to “Freaks & Geeks” and several of the other episodes. It’s an amazing show that still holds up.

Show me on the doll where Paul Feig hurt you.

This show was great and they should absolutely bring it back. With a lower budget and even cheesier sets, if that’s what it takes. Milana Vayntrub was hillarious on this, someone really needs to write a comedy with her as a lead. She’s wasted on AT&T commercials.

This is the show that taught me to never trust Dave Franco.

“(Feig remains grateful to Allison Jones, who cast both Other Space and Freaks And Geeks: ‘Anybody you like in comedy was basically found by Allison Jones.’)“

This is so true, and I only recently discovered how amazing the career of Allison Jones has been. Basically anything that’s known for its ensemble cast is

I was one of the few who watched it on Yahoo back in the day and I absolutely still love this little show! It’s so good!!

The nature of the infected madness, on the other hand, is still ambiguous to the point of frustration. That the majority of those infected would instantly succumb to homicidal/suicidal impulses is horrifying on its surface, but somewhat pat in the grand scheme

The difference is Dragon Age knew where it was going with it. It was setting up inquisition, And the game literally starts by telling you that everything went to hell almost instantly.

Making a game linear with only one or two feasible endings is pretty much playing an interactive story which is fine...but making the story end by smashing your head against the wall after telling you the story is going to end well isn’t cool.

You know what I love in games? Endings that only “make sense” if you’ve done optional missions. Oh, you didn’t like this movie? Well, did you remember to watch the tie-in web series that’s only found via deciphering codes on an entirely different website?

That’s kind of pointlessly nihilistic....I almost wonder how much of that has to do with the introduction to the US and the subtext of Trump/far-right movements.
As if we can’t call them bad, gun them all down, and win the day...It has to be some weird ‘well, they weren’t TOTALLY WRONG!’ because they’re white rural
