Curious to see if they’re still in the EU version when it releases next week on the 30th. Interesting to see various differences per region for this game. Since everyone has this opinion that here in Europe we’re more “sexually understanding and open” than the US, I wonder if it’ll transfer to this. So far:

My heart does actually say latter. I don’t wish for a broken PC port again. It’s great that the PC is finally getting some JRPG love, but shit ports will turn people off them on PC, then devs will see it isn’t worth the time and put less effort into a port or even not bother releasing them. Snowball effect. However

That’s possibly the most beautiful thing I’ve ever seen, and I’ve already looked in the mirror today!

Not pictured: Bashcraft’s bathroom, with a toilet paper holder that is NOT folded in a triangle, like an absolute savage.

Too late to edit my post to say “the former” (ノಠ益ಠ)ノ彡┻━┻

Well it was in development for a while before it was first announced back in 2006. I think it was about 2009 or so when they were still showing more and new stuff about it. There woulda been significant work put in before the E3 announcement that it was now FFXV. That’s why I put in the “on hold” argument. From all

Possibly, but they’re still pretty bad ports. Especially that they only use console textures too. It sounds like you’re one of the lucky ones. Most people according to steam and other forums/boards, etc still experience random freezes and hitches and skips. The amount of people that have reported a fully stable

I said it in a previous XV thread, but this is just so much crap at this point. Skipping my opinion on the quality of the game/graphics/etc atm, I think they’re just going all out balls to the wall because they know there is no way in hell they can sell enough copies to even break even on 10 years of development (you

The port of original XIII was horrendous, the updated port is still awful, and the FFXIII-2 port is crap and this will be the same.

You americans and your crazy release dates. Slight update for any EU (or at least Irish) readers!

You’ll have to forgive my memory, it was over 10 years ago. I do remember eventually downloading a full copy of Doom 3 so I musta just mixed the 2 up.

I actually downloaded this back in the day. It was 1 of my first 2 ever torrents (both of which being available at the same time, prompted me to learn how to torrent, ABC client for life!). There was the “half life 2 leaked beta” (this) and a pre-release (but iirc completed) copy of Doom 3. Back on my old 512kb DSL,

The Visit is absolutely awful. It’s comically bad and it doesn’t even mean to be,so you can’t credit it as a “Scream-esque black comedy”. It’s one of about 5 films I’ve ever watched in the cinema where I wish I had done almost anything else instead of watching it. The ending was also predictable, less than half way

Sickens me to see how people are already conditioned to accept microtransactions now. Most people went from “microtransactions??! (ノಠ益ಠ)ノ彡┻━┻” to “well, if it doesn’t affect core gameplay....” to “just don’t buy them!” to “well these ones are ok!”

Elevation training masks: For $80 a pop, elevation training masks will restrict your oxygen, like you were training on a mountain. Which simulates breathing through a straw, not on a mountain. Now, you no longer need to bother people with your personality and conversations about mudruns. Now they’ll know you’re an

Ubisoft giving something less than what was advertized?!?! Or changed it quietly without informing people?!?!?! Scummy, underhanded tactics by a scummy, underhanded publisher?!?!?!
