It stood out instantly for me because SoM is my favourite game of all time, and I never bothered looking (not even once) at the apple port (never owned an apple device and never will) and just got the android version years later when it finally hit google play and was gutted. The blurry/soft look deeply offends me! :P

Android version is all soft and crappy. I assumed the apple version was the same. A quick google shows the apple version being the same as the android version. Make sure to open full size to see the soft look better than the resized image.

I hate the way squeenix do this with their phone re-releases. Just the other day I saw the first screenshot of the phone FF6 and thought “wtf is wrong with this, it doesn’t look like that, is it fan art?” Then I remembered how they did it to my favourite game, Secret of Mana too :(

Or, he could just not be bad. Playing on the vita doesn’t help. The vita and ps3 versions have frame drops specifically when loading the lightning which fucks up the button registration. Funny really, considering it worked fine on ps2 (and I suppose ps4)
