The problem is it’s a catch 22 if they add a trading/exchange kinda thing. Personally I think any engrams should always decrypt into a piece for the job they were found on. Too many damn exotic engrams turned into other jobs.

A diablo 3 hardcore player comes close if not wins (not me, I’d never waste my time playing Hardcore), closest I ever got to that video was 3 holes in my wall from original Halo 1 on Legendary. 2nd level “Halo”, at the first tower outpost near the start. Anger incarnate.

I basically have 3 of these. 1 is mine personally, and 2 are what happened to my oldest friend. We generally don’t ragequit because we’re pretty much animals at all games. So when a ragequit does occur, it’s usually a blinding rage moment that is completely OTT to make up for the last X amount of years worth.

Yes, it’s an account/licence style thing. They can block licenses entirely on the console, even from PSN IDs that are created afterwards. All stems back to the always on DRM that sony quietly patched out day 1. Same reason why when the PSN is down, there are tons of licence issues.

There was a similar aspect like this in FFXI. When 2010 brought the start of the Abyssea series of addon packs, it changed the game so radically from the previous 8 years. including a level cap increase from 75 to 80 (the previous 75 cap had been in place for 6-7 years) as well as releasing new, pretty easy to acquire…

Ubisoft have a real “fuck you, now buy our game” approach, more so than possibly any other publisher. ESPECIALLY towards the pc players. That’s why I don’t give them money anymore.
