I simply cannot get over how poor the fuel economy is. I’ve been doing better than these numbers in the 6.2 V8 GMC I’m evaluating this week.

Coming from a scooter perspective, I would never buy a Chinese made car. I see so many broken Chinese scooters, new ones that last a year or 2 and up on CL for parts or repair. People are far better off buying a 30 yr Honda then a new generic Chinese bike. For fuck sakes don’t we already buy enough stuff from there.

How to fix the taurus: Make it weigh less than 5 thousand tons, offer a REAL SHO option that can actually handle the motor it gets, design it for the group of people who actually will buy it, not the people who are already sold on SUV’s.

It’s the same in South Korea as well. I love countries where the entire culture is based on the honor system. If you lie/cheat/steal, you’re dishonoring yourself and everyone associated with you.

There are a lot of things to like about this car, but the price isn’t one of them. Even if it were a nice price (it’s not), picturing items that aren’t part of the deal is a peeve of mine, and I’d have voted crack pipe out of principle.

Neither. It’ll just get stolen.

OK, confession time. I like it. I don’t think it’s whisky, but I remeber drinjking it in a pub at thinking that it tasted like what Christams should be.

Are there any disney child stars who didn’t act out or have some major issue after the fact?

I’m still smilin’ anyway, despite my choice not being on the list... because:

That is FAR cleaner.

The first gen actually looks pretty decent.

Wow, that one looks much more legit. Almust like a tiny E36 from the windshield back.

I may have actually seen this thing in person parked in a lot. It did not look pretty.

Nah. Black Flag. Since this is America.

Now, now, the Canadian Government has apologized for Doug Exeter on several occasions.

In my experience (tiny 8- and/or 10-seater planes in and around Costa Rica), this was not some sort of public shaming. I stood on a special scale, and the number was actually not visible to me or any of the other flyers. Instead, it displayed facing the other direction, for the single employee who was weighing

Either that or they were high as a motherfucker.

(And, to be sure, there’s an inherent racism in that dilemma: Few bat an eye at violent lyrics or misogyny in classic rock, chalking it up to poetic license and creative expression. It’s only when blacks are engaging in provocative lyrics that we clutch our pearls.)

IMHO that’s a lot of money for what is essentially supposed to be a utility vehicle.

What’s going to happen is that this thing is going to be a failure, and auto makers are going to look at that and say “See? We knew you guys didn’t want small trucks!”
