Why are rotary engines so inefficient?
Its a heat switch. It works much like a circuit breaker in your house. When you activate your blinker it heats up a wire that bends away from its contact point, interrupting the circuit. The wire then cools back down, closing the circuit once again.
I have a better question: Who cares?
