Like I said, I am sorry. I used inappropriate language. My concern IS the stigma.

I have gone, and continue to go, through that stigma. Not for autism, but for ADHD and bipolar disorder. Fortunately, I made it through the schizoaffective state of my 20's without much detriment and have managed some effective coping

Please read my reply to brick frog. I apologize for my poor choice of language. I also apologize for responding to anger with anger.

Since I can neither edit, nor delete my original comment I offer this to clarify what I meant at the time and offer a more nuanced considerate response.

Copy/paste:

I’m just going to copy/paste these:

Look I get it’s not the “worst particularized nightmare.” The point is it is a thing that you have no knowledge of your own influence over it that effects your child before it is born
So as a soon to be parent ... Which I am.

And as a person who also is cognitively divergent, in fact, taken from my mother by the state

It’s just that you were helped tangentially through basic therapy instructions. There is no mechanism that allows chiropractic to work. It sounds common sense, but it doesn’t physically do anything. It’s like popping your knuckles. You just paying someone to do it on your back.

Unfortunately it’s environmental in-utero. A child is born with autism. Which is the worst nightmare of any would be parent.

That picture is NOT of fine dining. All the Michelin stars and Famous names in the world will not make a cardboard box of dill pickle chips and a wax paper basket of apparently burnt fried chicken and hot wings ‘fine dining.’

I’m stealing this argument! Thank you.

This is the same argument as above. Your mad that you made the decisions you have, and are willing to punish other people for it. What is your problem with people who are poor? Seriously? Are you jealous of them?

??? So... the root of this argument is that person who buys the lawnmower is angry at themselves and because of that is willing to punish others out of their own shame.

Because this advice surely wouldn’t set a precedent in effect eroding the fourth estate. -smh

It’s not about minorities. It’s about people who embrace an arbitrary label used to divide. The whole point of the Sanders campaign is that we are all in this together.

As a PoC, I agree with him. The issues are rooted in disparity of resources and power. The divides along racial and gender lines perpetuate that disparity, in that they give us excuses to accept that very structure. They are superficial distractions. Not superficial as in not important or worthy of redress. They are

Is it just me, but doesn’t Clinton’s argument that she was Sec. of State defeat her stance that the president needs complete foreign policy experience? “Obama thought I had great ideas so he asked me to serve,” seems to me to say, “A president doesn’t need all the solutions as long as they appoint the right person.”

All the stars!!!

Apple did not “steal” from Xerox. This myth was debunked decades ago.

But... did Crum know that he had a suspended license? If he did, which would be some weird vigilante world of minority report, than it was premeditated. If he didn’t know and swerved to make a point, it was also premeditated.

A child dies every 4.3 seconds from starvation or treatable disease. What is your plan for dealing with that number, and then dealing with the additional 1.3 billion on top of it that you are mentioning? Seriously, what is your solution?
