Forget the Vegas Golden Knights. Has to be the Vegas Vandals. Perfect.

When in Rome North Africa Do as the Vandals

Man, it’s like he’s coached by Brian Kelly.

Notre Dame players think that they can simply apoligize during the last minute of the game all their personal fouls will magically disappear.

The best part of these letters is that, for the most part, they serve to show how deeply our public servants care about the cause for which they serve. These people are speaking anonymously and thus have little reason to lie, and what I get from reading these pieces is the terror that Trump will undo the work they’ve

On the one hand it’s a frivolous story; on the other hand, reporters making assertions on which they base confident explanations of how things work without having looked into them or knowing what they’re talking about is both inherently bad and probably part of why we have a racist pro-wrestling heel with a non-zero

aight that’s 15,934 “stick to sports”es and 1 “stick to politics.” long way to go but keep at it bud

I am a frequent “Deadspin for sports!” commenter, but even I have to admit that this is a very good and edifying use of the idea of a “sub blog.” Way better than videos where teenagers are punching each other.

I’m in the process of reading Mary Beard’s SPQR. Have you had a chance to read it? I just started so I’m only 60 pages or so in, but it seems to be a rather easy to understand read about the Roman Empire. Curious as to your thoughts on it.
