I’ll tweak that. The companies building defense weapons/ships/planes smartly break up the work and spread it across the country. They build these ships with parts that are supplied by nearly every state. So the issue becomes one of jobs for ALL congressional reps.

Yes. Especially if you have kids. Harkins theatres here in So. Cal. have a staffed pay per hour daycare area in the lobby. If you have to go to a movie and take your kid along do something like that.

There’s this incredibly crazy thing in the Republican party; they take ideas that are actually not terrible (Spend less money on disposable goods, want less, and live within your means) and they express them in the most insulting, and least productive way. They use these not-terrible ideas to sell the masses on a big,

AIM is/was fascinating for other reasons. AOL Chat was walled off and only available to paying AOL users until AIM for windows came along. If you wanted to chat you had to pay. Then they opened it up and there was almost no reason to keep your AOL service at that point.

I definitely agree with you about the current smartphone keyboard options. They really do suck in many ways. I hate them, and usually default to typing my texts on my laptop keyboard instead. I wish there was a good android phone with a full physical keyboard again instead of this gimmick feature phone.

Kind of bugs me how nostalgia creep causes people to over-estimate when things were in fashion. While there were early capabilities to text in the 90's most people’s earliest memories of texting were in the 2000-2002 years.

Actually...you should call 811 before digging, even on your own property. Gas lines, sewer, electrical, cabletv, etc can all be running under your yard.

In my heart I know you’re right, but it just doesn’t feel fair to have to hold ourselves to a higher standard. I know, I know....they go low we go high, but with lots and lots of people going low it stings to have to grin and bear it.

I’m looking for advice here: Is it wrong to fat shame Donald Trump? I mean he’s clearly overweight, and he also clearly makes fun of the bodies of women. My gut says that it is never right; but is there some kind of exception to that rule?

What makes my head hurt is that even if this is true aren’t Americans going to still be the ones paying for this? Through higher prices on things they’re buying now?

Its the new way that Republicans can spend money on frivolous things and not claim to be raising taxes.

I’m pretty tech savvy. If I’m calling them I’ve already made sure there’s nothing wrong on my end. Its laughable that to open a trouble ticket with a company they make me jump through hoops. If there’s no sync on my modem the fact that my computer is on or not has no bearing on that.

No. I won’t waste my time or theirs. Instead I just say “OK, I’m turning it off.” then 5 seconds later “I’m turning it on.” Then 5 more seconds “OK its on, now what?”

How is that 100% Obama’s fault and not the fault of a congress dead set on giving him any help? The fact that people could not see further than the interest of their own party to help the American people is disgusting. If Obamacare is broken come up with ideas to fix it. No...they’d rather run against it for 6 years

Source your comment please. If I wanted to make up statistics I would have. My numbers come from the labor department.

If you take a 30 year mortgage out and pay the same amount you would have paid on a 15 year mortgage you pay the house of in something like 17 years. And you can go back down to the 30 year payment if things get tough.

I’m with you. This man inherited the worst economy, terrible job numbers and a congress that was dead-set on giving him any credit or any help fixing it.

Thank you, someone gets it.

The issue is usually shelf stability. While Hazelnut oil could be used it is probably a)Extremely expensive in the quantity needed for a jar of Nutella and b) Not likely to retain freshness as long.

Exactly. Only 5 planets are visible without a telescope. And since a telescope wasn’t invented for thousands of years later....
