Fuck this. Every other first world country has no problem paying workers fair wages and costs are far from higher. I can go to Europe and make 22 bucks an hour working at McDonalds with 5 weeks paid vacations and better benefits, and the cost for the food is roughly the same

I would never show up to a job where I’d lose money in exchange for 8 hours+ of my time.
Totally understand why there are no truckers wanting to drive that nonsense.

Seriously. Greed? Are you kidding? This is a trash headline.

X5M. Air suspension, wide tires, great stability control, plenty of twist to move off the line. Bandimere Speedway in the background here.

Well. Different strokes etc. Under the skirt they’re the same 😆

We had a 2017 Subaru Outback we bought from Carvana a couple years ago. When we went to the Subaru dealer for an accessory for an upcoming July vacation, we noticed some 2022 Outbacks were just being driven off the truck. They offered us the same dollar amount for our 2017 as what we paid for it in 2019 and we put

Engineer by trade so I’m familiar with the equation and knew what it meant. It’s just that unlike most flying machines my pathetic attempt at a joke failed to land...

I just know far too many people who have been burned.

David Tracy with the WTF answer as expected. lolol

Can we just all agree the US tail light and headlight regulations blow hard and just appoint Torch Lighting Czar in the War on Mediocrity. No more tiny lights, no more lights so bright they blind you in the day, separate amber turn signals, no turn signals on the lowest portion of the car (looking at you Hyundai and

Besides, if anyone were paying attention, they’d know there is a worldwide taillight shortage keeping startups from meeting their delivery dates.

18"s with 33" tires are tiny?  You are weird, sir.

It’s a terrible Hotwheels take on a Ferrari.

Right? Ariel Atom, any Caterham, Miata’s, those are driver’s cars. This is just another modem supercar with so much power you need a fucking computer to drive it for you (unless you’re Aryton Senna) and will spend it’s entire life at 3/10ths or less. I have no interest in this segment. None.

I have the same car (F31). The 4-cyl sounds like a fucking blender. Add in that it’s a slushbox-only affair, and I hate it.

I don’t want four doors, I *want* the longer bed, but it’s criminally stupid to lose the jump seats. You need SOMEWHERE to stow groceries out of the rain, and having at least some space behind the front seats— ideally accessible by suicide doors— makes just too much sense.

I know what the answer is, but I’m hoping for a regular cab, or at least a 2-door with jumpseats.

I’m confused, I know that it will get something like 20 miles of EV-only range, but is there a way to combine the power sources like a regular hybrid to get better MPG? I would think that if the sources were combined, it could be more like a 35-40 MPG blended driving cycle. It’s like when the Volt came out and
