Same. I love old cars, had plenty of muscle cars, but... having seen how far new cars have come in their crashworthiness, it’s no question. I’m into modern production cars.

I like the vibe of the old one. And can definitely see the appeal of owning and driving that classic.

You don’t have to have it set aside, you just have to be able to afford it if it happens. Listen, you can buy a $4.5k subaru and should be able to afford a $2-3k head gasket job if it pops up. This is basic stuff, it doesn’t make it a CP. You just need to know it. 

How is the BMW lame? It took a vehicle that probably weighs as much as a Taycan and got +100 miles of range out of it, and is charging ~$100,000 less. It’s a strong seller in a market where people want crossovers.

Jeep people are Jeep people, but the majority of people buying Wranglers are not true Jeep people. I have a good friend who is leasing a Wrangler but would rather have a Bronco.

I dont know about that. Dont confuse ppl like Tracy with ppl making 100k a year living in Denver or Austin or Seattle or whatever and just wanting to look the lifestyle of activity and outdoory-ness w/o actually doing jack shit outside.

Get a Sienna AWD. Magnuson is about to start selling a Supercharger for the 3.5L. For the Taco of course, but I’m sure you can fit it to the Sienna with a sawzall and some jb weld.

This does not bode well for my dream of a 700 horsepower all wheel drive minivan.

I have an idea to combat the sales going down! How about making it cheaper and not having people pay 700 dollars a month for one(basically a second mortgage)?
