Honestly, comparing this to a Golf R really isn’t the right way to do this. The Countryman is bigger on the inside and much nicer than the Golf both in materials and features. The Mini is a premium car that shoots more for the S3 than Golf R.
I would say the Civic del Sol was not needed. I like it a lot, but Honda did not need to make that car.
I would think that a great majority would rather have a smaller engine Benz or BMW over a Genesis with a bigger motor.
The 5 series interior is definitely better and looks like 2019. The sharp lines and shapes - just look at the shifter alone. The G80 interior looks like 2010.
This is the advice to take. Why bet $60k that Hyundai has figured it out, when you could spend $65k to get a car from a brand that’s been doing it a long time (same logic for leasing).
“If you want a 5 Series packaged with heated, a heads-up display, and power sunshade, you’re up to $65,000. An E-Class is also $65,000 if you want things like lanekeeping and parking assist. The Genesis has all that stuff and still lists at $60,495. Not a mega price delta, but it’s something.”
This is not classy, this is more Korean garbage from Renault.
What’s classy is Ivanka. Deadspin hasn’t been updated in a week, SAD!
Buick and Chevy coming in below BMW, Audi, Nissan, and Mini......yikes.
This is a very good take on marketing to consumers. We can all tell that it isn’t really a Mustang, even with those tail lights.
US consumers: haven’t had a meaningful raise in decades.
