Is a folding windshield really that big a deal for people? I go to Moab every year and I don’t know a single Jeep owning friend who drops their windshield. I don’t think any of them would care if their vehicle did or didn’t come with it.

Saw one today on the road, and it had not yet undergone metamorphosis from its larval form. Rumor has it some were exposed to radiation fallout and became extremely dangerous for potential minivan-minded customers.
I could be wrong, but I think the understanding is that they’ll at least get them under development. Just one car alone isn’t going to be a cheap undertaking, nevermind an entire line-up.

No, you’re 100% right. I watch his videos to see the little quirks that one can’t really learn about through any other medium, besides driving or living with a car oneself. I like Doug’s writing style and I generally enjoy his quirks and features video content, but once he’s on the road it’s MEH. You can’t convey the excitement of driving a Porsche with a stuck-on GoPro and that mug.
