“Brilliant Rot” sounds like a hardcore punk band.
I hope they are found and rescued alive. I mean, you really have to be an a-hole to want otherwise.
It’s not a scientific endeavor, it’s a cottage industry for wealthy, thrill-seeking tourists.
Cool…. A side-by-side side divorce-mobile, instead of the usual tandem divorce-mobile.
I feel like this has become common knowledge over the last few years: If your intent is to buy a Tacoma for anything other than being abused by your construction/landscaping/whatever company for 20 years and 300k milles...
Hideous ND
If I owned it I wouldn’t drive it much either. I’d be to embarrassed. I just want to know what the original owner/buyer was thinking when they put down the money for this car.
Seriously - imagine being so unsympathetic that a towing company so instantly recognizes and does the right thing.
Y’all can have it. I’m old enough that it holds zero “cool” appeal - it wasn’t and never will be for those of use who remember them new. And I don’t need anything that large that still makes hauling some things impossible. I’ll stick with my Treat Williams killer. (Too soon?)
Most of America’s infrastructure sucks as well, why would this be any different?
About damn time.
As someone who had to bike to work for 3 years because i couldnt afford a vehicle: Fuck you.
Cycling is absolutely a viable form of transportation. Especially in a crowded flat town like Kalamazoo.
So people that can afford a $100 bike and not afford to buy and maintain a car or for whatever reason do not or can not drive cannot ride on taxpayer funded infrastructure to go get food and go to work? It is only a not viable form of transportation here by choice and it seems to work for much of the rest of the…
You might not wanna kill cyclists, but we also don’t wanna die out of the negligence of others because there are no other means to get to work, the grocery store, or to the services around the city we need. And we certainly wouldn’t be as vocal or as outspoken as you say we are if cities actually designed for car…
The more popular a musician is, the more they appeal to the lowest common denominator. What’s impressive is, to your point, how consistently she’s been able to hit that mark. I think her appeal is equal parts spectacle and “relatability”. She has the “boy” problems of a 14 year old and seems completely non-threatening…
People said the same thing about Michael Jackson, Madonna, the Beatles, Metallica, the Stones, etc. Hell, there is somebody who says that about literally every artist or genre.
You don’t need to understand it to appreciate that a lot of other people like it though, right?
I can understand why people like her, but I can’t understand why people obsess over her. I try not to let it get to me too much - different people like different things, it doesn’t directly harm me, etc. (Aside from last year’s articles about her private plane carbon emissions, and 90 diesel rigs crossing the country…
