Not to go off on a tangent, but can we stop using the term “ridesharing”? That isn’t what Uber or Lyft are. It is a marketing term they use to try and make it not sound like what they are, taxi services circumventing taxi regulations.

The concern for my safety is why I will never ever use a riding sharing program. I don’t want to be in a stranger’s car and not have to be concerned for my life every time, which would be exhausting. I rather walk or bike to place if my car broke down than use an Uber of Lyft.

While the LX was in my possession, I found that the steering wheel does not go up or down. It has a power-adjusting steering wheel, so I think that the switch itself is wonky. The sunroof switches also have some painter’s tape over them saying DO NOT TOUCH. I obeyed the tape. lol

I don’t think JIT is being impacted by the manufacturer, because they aren’t changing anything, they are ensuring that someone down the food chain _doesn’t_ use just in time and stockpiles so that their own JIT continues unaffected.
