Serious question, Hernandez already has life in prison with no possibility of parole. As far as I know, capital punishment is unconstitutional in Massachusetts, so he can’t be given the death penalty. Will his life change in any way whether he’s convicted for this or not?

I’m confused by the same thing. It feels to me like the syntax would make more sense saying “died from suicide”. Seems like that’s more common- “Died from cancer”, “from complications during surgery”, etc.

The LA Times/USC poll called the national vote at Trump +3 when it’s going to be Clinton +1, and the LA Times’ projected electoral map had Clinton winning 352 electoral votes. They’re touting their model as a win but they were as off as anyone (their model even moreso, given that most national polls clustered around…

Except the LA Times poll was off the national vote by 4+ points, and their actual electoral college prediction was way off. If anything they were more wrong than other pollsters who got the national vote margin close but missed the EC.

You’d be hard pressed to find a financial advisor who would suggest investing retirement funds into single companies for that exact reason. Most would suggest mutual funds instead, where the risk is pooled among so many companies that a single bankruptcy is just a blip.

The argument was never about what color the pixels were in the picture, so I don’t know why that matters. The pixels in this grass below the tree in this picture are black, but no one’s going to argue that the grass is black.
