I think menage’s point is not that you can’t or shouldn’t comment. Just that he/she doesn’t understand why people become extremely invested in the lives of people they have never meant.

I’ve supported procurement in some of the biggest manufacturers in the world. If they can’t get parts right now, start ups don’t stand a chance. Rivian is making plans to build a plant now because it will take years to build. Once it’s completed, the supply insanity of the past 2 years should (hopefully) be behind us.

Oh my, this comment took me back. I had a 1980 Mercury Tracer. The blower didn’t work so there was very little heat in the winter. Despite that, I would ride coatless so I could cushion the Discman that I routinely stole from my mom on my Packers Starter jacket. Ahhh, the good old days.

Many other countries do this. The owners and/or executives can be personally fined, imprisoned, or even banned from engaging in certain types of business for period of time. The US lets almost any kind of malfeasance hide behind the business entity.  We’re a special place.
