One could argue that Durant’s (former) all-star PG is better than Lebron’s, and Kevin Love was not nearly as important to Lebron’s Championship for Cleveland as his (former) all-star credentials would suggest. One could also argue that OKC was at or near the level of 2015 CAVS when Durant made this deal.

I could cut Erdely some slack if she wasn’t so goddamn arrogant and condescending to anyone who questioned aspects of the story. Anyone who criticized the story was labeled a “rape apologist” by Erdely. She was just awful.

Plenty of liquor stores in black and brown communities, just like in white communities. In a few years, the weed store will be just like the liquor stores. Sure you can go buy bootleg wine if you want, but Maddog and Boons is like $2 a bottle.

And the best Keeper ever.

Awesome. Let me know when the Lions or Browns find one. It’s been sixty fucking years, I’m sure that gem is just around the corner.

And yet, all of that is more likely than the Lions winning a playoff game, and it didn’t even take them sixty years to do it.

The only thing that is predictable in life is the Vikings choking in the playoffs. Every year. Like clockwork.

They had 26 wins in ‘12 season. That’s firmly in the bottom half. We’re not talking about who was on the roster. The ‘99 Rams and ‘01 Pats had solid rosters, many of the same players were on the championship roster the year later.

Golden State did it in about 2 years. Minnesota looks like they may be a serious contender in a year. Both are teams that you would have said have no chance at a title three years ago. It just takes one star for an NBA team to be a contender.

Here’s the thing about the NBA that makes that bet dangerous: One player can make a team a contender in the NBA. That means one good draft, one good trade, or one good lottery draw can make an NBA team a contender. This is not the case in the NFL. In the NFL a team needs three solid drafts and free agencies before

She wasn’t drunk. BAC was well under the legal limit.

Not an important distinction in my state, unless there is for example a trust set up for the funds. But it sounds like Texas law is a little different with the age of majority at 17. So, my worries were unfounded.

Oh good. I’m not from Texas, and not licensed there. In my state, the property of the child is the property of the parents.

I’m worried about the money being raised going directly her shitty parents because she’s a minor.

Same.

From your lips to the Mouse ears...

Love Bo, but he is not long for ESPN I have a feeling. He speaks his mind way too much for the Mouse.

Butterflies and Caterpillars are the same bug. Combining them should rocket the “Caterflies” to number 1.

Rule Number One after having my first kid was “Never, ever, ever, ever criticize or critique or otherwise comment on another person’s parenting technique unless you genuinely think it is child abuse that needs to be reported to social services. Otherwise, mind your own business. That parent spends 24 hours a day with

The fucking balls on these guys!! Can you imagine how this conversation went?
