It’s fairly common knowledge that she’s a Republican. She even said that it was harder to come out as a Republican than as a transwoman. And I guess you can be a right-wing transperson, especially if for the first 67 years of your life you benefited from being a rich white male athlete.

Maybe it’s just me but if someone can’t bring themselves to vote for a candidate because they texted them while the other major party burns the world down and builds it back up with fear mongering rhetoric and the thought that we simple women will vote for our husbands’ paychecks.....well....maybe they should sort

That’s also why it won’t be Ohio’s US Senator Sherrod Brown, either. Kasich would get to name his replacement. :/

Have you seen Kaine on the stump? Or questioning someone in Congress? Or talking about his career of fighting for civil rights in VA, fighting against housing discrimination, talking about why he’s anti-death penalty? I 100% reject the notion he’s boring.

I know we want Elizabeth to stay in the Senate but the selfish fan girling part of me would really like to see her on the ticket.

It could never be Cory Booker this year. The Dem’s have a chance to win back the Senate and Chris Christie would get to name his replacement. Cant risk losing that seat.

Remember he balanced the budget by doing things like cutting funding for HIV/AIDS treatment and prevention which lead to a massive HIV crisis in the state of Indiana.

Which many states have achieved by underfunding their pensions. It’s not really something we want to emulate at the federal level.

Okay, so a balanced budget in his state? Great. So we’re clear, 49 states require balanced budgets. So . . . congratulations, Mike Pence?

Hopefully this will send independents and bernie supporters over to Hillary.

Trump might actually be going all-in on a theocracy.

It’s kind of impressive that Trump could pick someone who would be objectionable is almost every opposite way from him. I’ve known people who are like “Well, at least Trump isn’t terrible on abortion and gay rights” and then he picks Pence, who is truly awful on both. There’s almost a part of me that wants to

“People who know me well know I’m a pretty basic guy. I’m a Christian, a conservative and a Republican, in that order.”

Time for a quick reality check. Despite the hysteria from the political class and the media, smoking doesn’t kill.
