Why not? I wake up and go to work. From there I use it for mail and messaging (and poop-time games, of course). Then on my way home I use Google Music. At home I use it for keeping track of fantasy sports, recipes for dinner, and various other things.

I wouldn't say they straight up crush ideas. I mean, these people are asked to make an investment into these companies for a trade of some percentage of ownership or whatever. These are businessmen and women that created very successful companies. Success isn't made from charity.

Yeah, seriously. I don't know what the big deal is. People seem to really rage about the "metro" style or whatever they are calling it these days. I don't ever use it myself. Using their awesome search feature is a great enough reason to upgrade from 7 to 8 for me.
