You’re missing the point. The GT class is based on already existing road-going cars, so there’s no need to homologate (well, an exception being made for the GT this year). The P classes, in some ways, imposed the “hybrid crap” on themselves in order to better the technology. Yes, this might be faster than a P1, but

Looks more like an LMP1 car with better aero to me.

With this and the Vulcan, I think Aston is losing touch with reality.

Seven More Facts:

From the looks of it, I think they started with an F1 frame and said “What can we do to make this street legal?”

I really hope this is faster than an F1 car; just to force F1 to innovate that much further.

I don’t know why I am surprised or get worked up about the comment section here anymore but man, oh man, it gets me sometimes.

That’s what diversity looks like: People who are excellent at their job, and aren’t all from the same predictable background.

While I don’t think diversity should be the first criteria for hosting duties, they are in the unique position of having a handful of very talented people, who happen to be diverse. I'm not familiar with all of the current presenters, but I have to imagine reimagining the trio with LeBlanc, Sabine, and Harris would be

I crashed through all of extra gear yesterday, the most memorable parts were Rory saying “wow isn’t that cool Chris” and Chris quietly going “no, it’s rubbish”. Next season has a lot of potential if LeBlanc can fit in with the two.

Hes good but you cant tell me you wouldnt rather have tiff replace him, which is possible for them to secure. He has that same charisma nobody gets more excited about cars than tiff. And hes an amazing driver.

I couldn’t agree with you more! However is that really such a bad thing? Is finding a bad car now-a-days straight from the dealership harder to do? I mean I had cars that I loved (07 Grand Prix GT - supercharged) (yes may not be WOW-WE-ZOWIE for some, but for me it did the trick)... got rid of that an due to hard

I guess punching a producer doesn’t seem so bad now, does it?

Could not agree with you more about Eddie, he doesn’t seem to add anything. Sabine would be good to keep as an occasional guest/presenter when the show is in Germany or reviewing German vehicles.

I can’t say I’m surprised. Evans was what I liked least about the “new” Top Gear. LeBlanc got better over the course of the series and I think he’s got more star power than Evans. Lets see what he, Harris and Rory can do in the next season. Bring back the Star in a Reasonably Priced Car and get rid of the rally car

He had no chance whatsoever from day 1, he was replacing Clarkson.

Please do not kill him.

Why can’t the solution just be to educate our drivers more?

Several European nations they are required to take advanced defensive driving courses. From skid pad driving to accident avoidance during stress.
