I stayed at the Glen Motor Inn for the NASCAR weekend in August and everything you said was true. It was a last minute trip and when we got there, the rooms looked like they were straight out 1982. The lobby is filled with racing memorabilia which was cool. Great views too.

Well when you are the only POC in a sport viewed by millions from all over the world, you’d be stupid not to use your venue. The whole point of making a statement is that people see it.

Anything to distract from this... thing.

*Looks up Fernando Alonso*

Vettel is just an embarrassment at this point. His last couple seasons have just been mistake filled disappointments and this has to be the dumbest one of them all. Why would you move across your teammate going into a braking point...

Yeah no, that this is a disproportionate mess

All I have to say is practice practice practice. Since getting my license (I’m 18, started driving at 16, license at 17) I have never declined driving. Every ounce of experience is worth it. You learn something new every time you hit the road.

Just double park, people will shower your car with something.

Maybe if Williams focused on their F1 entry instead of developing a 100 MPH Tractor, they wouldn’t be at F2 pace.

It was probably an area where the Ferrari drivers pull away fast and the guy in the Pista didn’t get the memo and braked like he was at the end of the Mulsanne.

Hot Wheels made a CLK GTR, that’s probably what the OP is referring to.

GT1 is unofficially back! Bring on manufactures making full blown race cars for the road and saying the gas tank is the luggage compartment

But Sato, Ericsson, Bourdais, and Alonso (Indy 500) are running Indycar this season.

Make Acceleracers: The Edge or another Highway 35 (well 51 for the 51st Anniversary). That series of movies was perfect.

He has eight wins, he’s the most deserving driver. Knowing NASCAR, deserving drivers don’t win. The Big Three (who have 19 wins between them) will probably lose to someone with two wins *cough* Logano *cough*

I don’t let people who aren’t my family drive me so I’ll just do them.

Enforcing penalties for things that aren’t important to the actual race. (Risi Competizione being screwed out of Le Mans 2016 because their leader light didn’t work)

Congrats to Toyota but this win is shallow. Lasting 24 Hours is a huge feat, I won’t take that away from them. That doesn’t defeat the fact that they had no competition. They gapped the field and never looked back. We’ve had dominate cars at Le Mans (Porsche 956/962, Audi R8) but the difference is they had privateers
