@jaydyzzl: They should have made more noise about the root problem that leads to the "man step"... the Ford's box walls are too damn tall.

@Fodder650: I think this man would disagree.

@Sarcasm055: That is the regular cab. The current regular cab is within a few inches of overall length of the old Supercab/shortbox from, say, 1986.

Do not want. If it were a Windsor I might change my mind, but Chevy engine swaps in Fords belong like hexavalent chromium belongs in drinking water.

"This is not your father's Oldsmobile" always pissed me off.

@newnewman2002: It is not "based on an E-class platform from over a decade and a half ago." It is a Chrysler platform (= set of dimensions for manufacturing purposes) using suspension geometry similar, but not identical, to certain Mercedes designs (the rear is supposed to be similar to the W210 E-class, and the

@tscurt: That is beautiful.

@Dawgvet06: I don't understand it either. I'm hardly a Mopar-or-no-car guy, the last two times I was shopping I started out wanting a Ford (Ranger, Mustang) and bought the Dodge (Dakota, Challenger) instead.

@Dirt Pirate: Don't you think they learned something from the Magnum? When the Charger came out it took most of the Magnum's sales away, to the point that when the Challenger came out Chrysler dropped the Magnum to use those resources for the Challenger. I'd rather have Chrysler put its resources into the products

@jb68902: One good car? What do you call the new Charger? The Challenger? The Ram? The Durango? Even the updated Journey, 200 and Avenger are getting good reviews.

@Bro-Sel; brah in training: Compact tractors aren't as heavy as their larger purpose-built loader/backhoe brethren. The weight of the tractor + the trailer is probably still within the Tacoma's limits (6500 lbs. properly equipped IIRC.)

@brovinski91: It's lose-lose. If they know you were traveling at track speeds but don't know where, you're therefore a speeder and a bad risk. If they know you were on a track, they're not required (in my state, at least) to spend any money on your behalf to cover anything that happened on the track.

@Brahnaby Jones: This is what the Hutterite bros would drive, bro.

@jakebonz: It's a Dodge Durang-bro!
