People seem to put a lot of pressure on Bungie for this but like you say Halo's story was pretty weak first time round, it took a while to get going and I'm a huge Bungie fan.

I was at the event and besides some references to the Simpsons Movie, all songs were from the first 9 seasons. At different points in the night, Hank Azaria, Conan O'Brien and Weird Al all made reference that the Simpsons dropped in quality starting in season 10.
