I think the word I was looking for was long awaited, not long delayed, I don’t follow the franchise but KH II was out for several years until KHIII was announced and then released (I just checked, KHII is from 2005, so there was a 13 year wait for a game that it seems did not meet up the player’s expectations).

Long delayed games rarely ever do, i think.

I don’t play KH, but this game seemed to be one of those games a ton of people were eagerly expecting and when it came out, it was a loud thud. Like, it phased out of existence mere days after it came out or something, made no splash or gave something to talk about after it’s launch.

And they still haven’t catched up, no one has made a world as empty as BotW yet!

The RE2 remake was great, so I hope this one is just as good.

In a Famitsu Interview, he cited the reason for the cuts as the models were being remade so they could use better animations (the animatiosn in S&S are a joke)

Game Freak said they cut the rooster because they made all the models from scratch, which they didn’t, if that’s not a lie then I don’t know what that is.

Because, even when the genres are different, one has progressed for the better, while the other has animations/graphics that look like a polished Gamecube game. Seriously, I’ve never seen a company get a greater pass for subpar products the way Gamefreak does.

The art is probably the most detailed of the bunch but I hate the panel structure, which some times it’s not very intuitive.
