Now that you mention it, the word itself doesn’t make a lot of sense in spanish, we don’t have many words that end with an “x”, and the ones that do, are words derived from a different language.

Quick and kinda unrelated question: how do you say “Latinx”? Like Sphinx? I am latino but I don’t live in the US so I don’t really know much about it, I thought we were referred as “latino/s”, which seemed kinda fine.

I don’t think they are complaining that they were cancelled, in fact they seem to unnderstand the reasons they might have been cancelled, they just wanted to have some clarification from PAX.

As with everything in life, you treat how you want to be treated, so If I am doing everything right and I am not being rude to the organizers and they specifically are stating that they understand and are not mad on the why of the cancellation, I think you at least deserve that.

Why would it be public? They weren’t asking for a public apology or anything, just a reason, most likely through email.

They are not complaining about being cancelled, they are complaining because they were not given an explanation, as one would. They are totally ok with not going places they are not welcomed, as one would.

Yeah I’m a tester at a small firm but I can’t really defend phones at the desk when privacy is a concern, consider that each phone has a fully functioning camera and you work on a company with highly anticipated titles.

I get what you are saying, not that is wrong or anything, it’s just that my wallet can’t keep up with the game’s latest content. I do hope Destiny keeps being succesful because I believe the game is great (I’ve been playing since D1 and up until D2 Forsaken), but I need to be smart on how I spend my game money.
