As long as you pirate content, you provide a scapegoat and a justification for studios and labels to lobby Congress for stronger legal protection schemes.

Huh?! Half of the action of a proper row is pushing with your legs, like a squat.

I was hot and I was hungry.

I'm not sure you are disproving this - it sounds like you are only focusing on the method and are mentally giving short shrift to the effect. The normal reaction is to see the effect and have your brain try to reconstruct the method, meanwhile the magician is already going through his next trick. Then the brain sees

^^ This. 2 or 3 button mouse? Meh. 15 button mouse? *BAM* What's my left hand needed for?

Agree to disagree. Meeeeow! (I have the vocal chords of a cat, you insensitive clod).

Well, I frequent tech blogs and I JUST found out about this (that's why I'm necro'ing this a week later). I am NOT happy. They responded correctly, but it is NOT cool that they just rifle through my phone's address book and not ask me.

Is it video game addiction, or escapism addiction? I find that when I don't want to deal with the real world, I'll pick up a book or surf the web just as much as play a game. The game is just the syringe; it's the avoidance of responsibility that I'm shooting into my arm.

Hmmmm, if you already know it, and why you'd use one setting over another to accomplish a specific goal (see my other comment here), then maybe not. But it went a long way in explaining the aperture-shutter-ISO triangle to me as a complete noob.

I'm convinced I once played TFC against Emilio.

I have five of his books (although two are really the same: Understanding Exposure 2ed and then 3ed). They are so well written and illustrative of what can be accomplished by altering just one setting that anyone can pick them up and learn the basics of photography.

First thought: Who the F is this guy?

I thought it was only all right, and I usually give most superhero movies a free pass. Captain America was better.

I was supposed to have a call at 3:00 with a client. My boss emailed me saying "Haven't heard from the client. Please stand by."

Except that stores mount them on huge metal frames - at least BestBuy does. This is just resting on a set of screws drilled into your wall studs, which I trust significantly less than a huge honking metal frame MADE to hold tvs.

I had to Google Ryan Dunn because I've never heard of him.
