there was a video game set to this theme a few years, which looks like it is dead now, but man, was it enjoyable.

YES! That was the highlight of my week when I was a kid! I loved all those shows!
Agreed! Spring 1990 TGIF was the best...
Yes to TGIF, no to the version on when I was a toddler - my TGIF was Boy Meets World, Sabrina the Teenage Witch, and a couple other things that only lasted a season or two (my favourites being the Teen Angel/You Wish block for extra supernatural fun =3)
I’m pretty sure this is where I got my favorite SFW curse phrase “Son of a motherless goat”
While completely off topic, the theme for Perfect Strangers always reminded me of the theme for Chip and Dale’s Rescue Rangers. Aside from being vaguely in the same key, these are not interchangeable. Nostalgia is weird some times.
OH FOR THE LOVE OF DONUTS PLEASE BRING BACK TGIF!!!
YES!!! here, you can have my internet point for the day!
Man how tv has changed. First fridays are the worst time to have people stay at home because everyone goes out friday! second a listing of everything happening this is just crazy talk now, no one cares what time or day, record it and stream it! Damn what caveman times back then.
While we are at it, let’s bring Snick back! More All That! More Stick Stickly!
OMG I THOUGHT OF THE SAME TWO CHARACTERS!
This was the Met Gala a couple of weeks ago! Why they dressed like they were going to a balalaika concert, I have no idea.
Bronson Pinchot has been doing narrating of audiobooks some, and he’s REALLY good at it.
Oh man, I miss the 90's. Still remember getting home from school and waiting for my dad to come home from work so we could all watch TGIF.
“Dad even helps me apply the Chapstick. He says the best method is to put it on his lips first and then press them to mine to transfer it. He also uses this method to make sure I have plenty of it on my nipples as well.”
As someone who was already an adult when that shit aired, TGIF was some god-fucking-awful tv. Just painfully bad.
I did standup once with Balki in Athens, OH. (true story)
Bronson Pinchot is actually a pretty funny guy. I remember an interview he did with the av club a few years ago that had some good anecdotes of 80s/90s Hollywood.
